Firstly, it is necessary to clean the acrylic panel. We know that acrylic panels have a strong electrostatic effect and can easily adsorb some particulate matter. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to their cleaning. Otherwise, if not cleaned for a long time, a lot of dust will be adsorbed on them. When cleaning, it is necessary to rinse with water first, and then wipe it with a clean cotton cloth. During the cleaning process, do not let the acrylic panel be scratched.
Precautions for using acrylic panels:
1、 Avoid high temperatures: Acrylic will deform when heated to around 70 degrees Celsius, and will soften when heated to above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it should be avoided to apply to areas above 100 degrees Celsius.
2、 Reduce scratches: Acrylic polishing. If it is a small scratch, you can directly wipe it with toilet paper or a cloth dipped in a little toothpaste. If it is a large scratch, it is recommended to use sandpaper to polish the acrylic. If sandpaper is used to polish it, the product will be scrapped and the entire surface will be scratched.
3、 Avoid chemical cleaning agents: Acrylic should be scrubbed with soft cloth, and never use any cleaning agents containing granular objects. Do not use various chemical bath agents for cleaning.
4、 Anti cracking: Acrylic is prone to cracking, so attention should be paid to surface protection during handling. If the acrylic product is not very damaged, IPS adhesive/dichloromethane adhesive or quick drying agent can be used.
5、 Leave enough room for expansion and contraction: The thermal expansion coefficient of acrylic is relatively high, and temperature changes should be taken into consideration when placing or fixing, leaving room for expansion and contraction.
6、 Proper polishing: If you want acrylic products to be shiny and shiny, you can use liquid polishing wax and wipe them with a soft cloth.
